• What are the school's goals for the program.

• What is the space like? Is there room for all the band students?

• What conflicts are going to arise between the band and the athletic department? Is there a chance we will be competing over who is using the gym on a certain day?

• What materials are available? (Books, instrument)

• How many of the students are involved with private music lessons.

• What is the school's level of commitment to their music performance program?
